Suggestive Hypnotherapy

At Hemisphere the main style of hypnotherapy used is Suggestive Hypnotherapy. This involves gathering information from you about your issues and the ways you want to improve them. I will ask you questions about causes, effects and expectations, induce a light to medium trance state and then present your subconscious with deliberately constructed positive suggestions. These suggestions will assist you in overcoming past unwanted habits and attitudes that are holding you back from achieving your goals.

There will be no need for you to speak during this style of hypnotherapy. You will be sitting or lying in a relaxed state with eyes closed, listening to me speak about you overcoming your obstacles. You will be aware of everything being spoken to you as you enjoy the relaxed feelings. You cannot be made to do anything against your will or set of values. Hypnosis is simply a helpful and fast way to produce positive changes in your life in a comfortable manner.

Calendar Regression

Most issues that have underlying associated trauma can be dealt with using simple Suggestive techniques. But sometimes issues can involve negative imprints that were set very early in childhood. This is when it may be useful to add a Calendar Regression to the session. This involves imagining a desk calendar blowing in the wind and allowing your mind to drift gently back in time to a secure place before your old unwanted triggers began. Back to a time when you felt safe and secure. There is no need to consciously remember when this time was because the subconscious mind will know and simply take you there.

There will be no need to relive painful events because we are at a positive point in time. From here we continue with the hypnosis session and you are assisted to make a fresh start safely and gently, strengthening and healing the parts of you that require it. Through gentle and caring suggestions I will guide you to eliminate the affects the issue is having on you. Near the end of the session you will imaginge the wind changing direction and blowing the desk calendar back the other way - back to the present time. You will bring the knowledge and wisdom back with you to the present day, and the healing too.

Each person has ther own unique response to this wonderful and safe way of exploring the subconscious mind.
